How to Freeze Raw Milk

Frozen raw milk can come in handy when the mama cows are dry.    It's simple to do!  Here's how: 1. Shake milk to mix in the cream. 2. Freeze milk in ice cube trays, leaving a little room for expansion. 3. Pop out and store in an air tight bag labeled with the date.   Now you're smoothie set for the summer!  Frozen raw milk will retain adequate quality for about 3 months.  The butter fat and water tends to separate when milk is frozen, so its best suited in cooking and smoothies.  Now we can make it until the cows freshen!

Perfect Raw Chocolate Milk

Raw Milk Mozzarella - Stovetop

Soaked Pancakes

Pancakes so simple you'll never buy "just add water" mix again! 2 c. Flour 2 c. Raw milk 2 Eggs 1/2 tsp. Sea salt 1 tsp. Baking Soda 2 tsp. Melted Butter Soak flour in milk overnight, covered on the counter.  In the morning, stir in other ingredients.  Cook on a hot, oiled griddle.  Serve with butter, maple syrup, honey, or fruit.

Raw Milk Yogurt - Instant Pot

Here's the quickest, easiest way I have found to make raw milk yogurt: Makes 1 quart: In a clean quart jar, add 1/4 c. yogurt (this is your starter).  Fill the jar with your raw milk, cap, and shake until the yogurt is incorporated.   Set the jar in your Instant Pot and fill the pot with warm tap water up to the shoulders of the jar.  Push the Yogurt button twice (or customize your Yogurt setting) for a 24 hour culture.   When the cycle ends, remove and wipe down the jar and refrigerate until cold.  Use for smoothies, parfaits, or to make popsicles!
